Projects

A project is the main working boundary in the console. Nearly every operational resource is created in the currently selected project.

What a project contains#

• data models and their fields;
• warehouses and destinations;
• ingest clients and query clients;
• runtime API keys with project resource scopes;
• Analytics APIs, Explorer work, and apps;
• usage, cost, and live statistics;
• project-local credentials and Client CAs.

Recommended project strategy#

Use separate projects for production and non-production environments. This prevents test senders, test schemas, and temporary analytics definitions from affecting production data or limits.

Create a project#

Choose New project from the project selector. Enter a clear name and complete any requested setup. The new project becomes available according to your workspace plan and permissions.

Switch projects carefully#

The selected project changes the resources shown throughout the console. Before deleting, rotating, or editing a client, confirm the project name in the console shell.

Project summary#

The Overview page combines resource state and recent statistics. Use it to see whether setup is complete, whether data is arriving, and which part of the flow needs attention.
