Accounts and sign-in

An account is your personal identity in ReportPlane. Workspace access and roles are attached to this identity.

Register and verify#

After registration, ReportPlane sends a verification email. Open the verification link before attempting normal console work. If the message does not arrive, check spam filtering and use the resend action on the check-email screen.

Verification links are time-sensitive. Request a new link if an old one no longer works.

Sign in#

Use the email address and password associated with your account. Successful sign-in creates the authenticated session used by the console to call the management API.

Runtime credentials are separate. Your console password is never an ingest or query credential.

Reset a forgotten password#

1. Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page.
2. Enter the account email.
3. Open the reset link delivered by email.
4. Choose a new password.

For privacy, the request screen may not reveal whether an email address exists.

Change your password#

Signed-in users can change their password from Settings → Password. Treat password changes and email access as account-security operations, not project configuration.

Update your profile#

Use Settings → Account to view or update supported personal profile information. Workspace names and memberships are managed separately.
