Templates provide reusable starting points for common data and analytics patterns. They can include model fields, analytics definitions, chart choices, and supporting setup.
What templates are for
Templates save repetitive configuration and demonstrate compatible result shapes. The catalog includes patterns for product activity, API performance, infrastructure, funnels, cohorts, and other analytics use cases.
The Logistics Delivery Ops pack includes a portable Live Shipment Map recipe with WGS84 latitude/longitude fields, latest-per-shipment state, status coloring, runtime filters, and map visualization metadata. It executes through the same warehouse-neutral Analytics contract as every other template.
Apply a template
- Open Templates.
- Select a template and inspect its resources.
- Choose the target project and destination context.
- Review plan-limit preflight results.
- Apply the template.
- Inspect every created model and Analytics API before sending production data.
Templates use the same creation services and plan limits as manual setup. They do not bypass resource quotas or validation.
Customize safely
Rename display labels where useful, but preserve stable field meaning. Confirm that senders can provide the required fields and that template filters do not expose sensitive dimensions.
Review chart types and visualization aliases against real data. Example recipes are compatible starting points, not a guarantee that every chart is meaningful for your business.
