Managed warehouse
Use ReportPlane-operated storage for the shortest setup path when your plan supports it.
Managed warehouse mode removes the need to supply a customer warehouse credential. ReportPlane controls the underlying connection while your project continues to use the same models, clients, destinations, and analytics definitions.
Create managed storage
Open Data → Warehouses → New warehouse, select Managed Warehouse, choose the models to connect, and save.
The created destination carries warehouse_mode: managed. You do not paste a service-account document or database password.
Quotas
Managed ingest and query usage can be governed by hourly, daily, and monthly plan limits. The exact values come from the current workspace subscription and can change by plan.
Use Analytics → Usage & Cost and workspace limit surfaces instead of hard-coding assumptions into applications.
When to use it
Managed storage is a good fit for initial implementation, teams without warehouse operations, and workloads whose governance requirements permit ReportPlane-operated storage.
Choose a customer-owned backend when data ownership, network policy, regional controls, or existing platform commitments require storage in your account.
