Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the ReportPlane website, dashboard, beta features, and related services. By accessing or using ReportPlane, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope of the service
ReportPlane provides customer-facing analytics infrastructure, including product ingestion workflows, schema and analytics definition tools, analytics APIs, access control, warehouse connectivity, usage controls, and related operational capabilities.
Some features may be available only in specific plans, beta releases, managed environments, or customer-specific commercial agreements.
2. Eligibility and authority
You may use ReportPlane only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and, if you use ReportPlane on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, client secrets, and other access tokens associated with your use of the service.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or workspace unless caused directly by our breach of these terms. You must promptly notify ReportPlane if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
4. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the data, configurations, and analytics logic you submit to or run through ReportPlane, including ensuring that:
- you have all necessary rights and permissions to use, ingest, process, query, and share the data you provide;
- your use of the service complies with applicable law, contractual restrictions, and internal security requirements;
- your users, admins, and customers use the service in accordance with these terms;
- your warehouse, cloud environment, credentials, and downstream systems are configured securely.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use ReportPlane to:
- violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- attempt unauthorized access to any account, environment, network, or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity, availability, or performance of the service;
- probe, scan, or test the service in a harmful or abusive manner without authorization;
- upload or transmit malicious code, spam, fraudulent content, or abusive material;
- use the service in a way that bypasses plan limits, access controls, or commercial restrictions.
6. Plans, limits, and beta features
Use of ReportPlane may be subject to plan limits, usage limits, workspace restrictions, feature gating, and beta availability rules. Published limits may change as the product evolves.
Beta and preview features may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time. We may also update plan packaging, quota definitions, and managed-versus-customer deployment options as the service matures.
7. Managed environments and customer-owned warehouses
ReportPlane supports both customer-owned warehouse execution patterns and ReportPlane-managed execution patterns. Your rights, operational choices, data flows, and commercial terms may differ based on which deployment model you choose.
You remain responsible for authorizing access to your own warehouse, cloud accounts, credentials, destinations, and any data stores you connect to the service.
8. Fees and commercial terms
Some parts of ReportPlane may be available without charge, while paid plans or enterprise offerings may require a separate order form, subscription agreement, or commercial approval process.
If you purchase paid services, the applicable pricing, billing, invoicing, renewal, support, SLA, security, and data processing commitments may be described in a separate commercial agreement or order form.
9. Intellectual property
ReportPlane and its related software, content, branding, interfaces, and service materials are owned by ReportPlane or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise. You retain your rights in your own data, schemas, analytics definitions, and other customer-provided materials, subject to the rights needed for us to provide the service.
10. Feedback
If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions about ReportPlane, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any product, support, or business purpose without obligation to you.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access to ReportPlane if reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements, prevent security harm, or address violations of these terms.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or discontinue access to beta or trial services at our discretion, subject to any separate written commercial commitments.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
Except to the extent prohibited by law or expressly stated in a separate written agreement, ReportPlane is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReportPlane will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and any express limits stated in a separate written commercial agreement.
14. Changes to the service or terms
We may change the service, plans, features, limits, documentation, or these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
